Account Information

When you sign up, we collect information provided through Google Sign-In, including your name, email address, and profile picture.

Profile Data

Information you provide to personalize your experience, such as gender, preferences, bio, and photos.

Chat Messages

Messages you exchange with AI characters within the app.

Photos and Images

Photos you voluntarily submit through optional in-app features, including photos shared in chat and selfies submitted to the Couple Selfie feature. These images may depict your likeness or other subjects you choose to upload. You may only submit photos that you own or have permission to use.

Usage Data

Information about how you interact with the service, including features used, session duration, and in-app actions.

Device Information

Device type, operating system, app version, and unique device identifiers.

Advertising Identifier

With your permission (via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt), we may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns through services such as AppsFlyer, Meta, Google Ads, and TikTok. We also collect your device's vendor identifier (IDFV) for analytics and attribution purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the service
• Power AI features including chat, personality insights, and suggestions
• Analyze usage patterns to improve the experience
• Send push notifications and service-related communications
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

3. AI & Data Processing

Your chat messages are processed by third-party large language model (LLM) providers, including OpenRouter and OpenAI, to generate AI character responses. Before messages are sent to these providers:

• Personally identifiable information (PII) is stripped from the data
• Your data is not used to train AI models
• Messages are processed solely for the purpose of generating in-app responses

Photos and images you submit through optional in-app features (such as photo sharing in chat or the Couple Selfie feature) are processed by third-party image providers to operate those features:

• Content safety moderation is performed by OpenAI's Moderation API prior to any further processing
• AI image generation (for features such as Couple Selfie) is performed by fal.ai, which receives the submitted image solely for the purpose of generating the requested output
• Submitted images are not used to train AI models by our providers
• For the Couple Selfie feature, the photo you submit is not retained on our servers after the generated image is delivered; only the AI-generated output is stored

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Sign-In — Authentication
• Firebase — Push notifications
• OpenRouter, OpenAI — AI language model processing and content safety moderation
• fal.ai — AI image generation (including Couple Selfie)
• AppsFlyer — Attribution analytics
• Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel — Marketing analytics
• Cloudflare — Hosting, CDN, and image delivery
• Stripe — Web payment processing
• Apple In-App Purchase — iOS payment processing
• Google Play Billing — Android payment processing

Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their policies.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us at support@heyyyy.ai.

Upon receiving a deletion request, your data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

heyyyy is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS and encrypted at rest. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights
